Well, that was a bit of a disappointment...they were overbooked heavily so we didn't play. (There were about 15 bands!) Looked like a great success as a cancer benefit, though. Apologies to anybody who turned up expecting us to play at 9 with a $10 cover, send me a message and we'll...uh... make it up to you by promising to send you some nonexistant 13 Mirrors band-related swag or something. Srsly!

And the cymbols are out of control. A nice fat 10k notch would tame them.

On second listen, the bass is fine. What a track.

Wish I'd spent more time dialing in that drum room, though. Harley is right--that snare drum sounds like it was recorded in a garage, but what's ironic is that the actual recording is great, and reason it sounds like a garage is that RoomMachine844 is configured to sound... like a garage. :o

Thoughts. Numbered Days needs more guitar (in the verse, not necessarily the chorus) and the drums need a little more definition (but the kick has that multiple click...I guess bite the bullet and bring it up into the mix anyway).

Never Quit just plain needs guitar. The cymbals shouldn't be panned hard left and right, because there's such a big hole in the middle that way. Also, the right tom channel recorded way soft again--maybe a corroded connector or something? Toms should get the same treatment they got in Numbered Days, IMO.

Never Quit is just plain depressing without guitar. :( *sob*
